Zapien’s Salsa Grill (The Salsa Grill) and Chef Marco Zapien will participate in LA County’s first Burger Week July 12 – July 18.

Chef MZ created a menu featuring three burgers inspired by the restaurant’s traditional Mexican dishes.
For $15, diners can choose between the Chile Burger, the Chile Relleno Burger or the Pollo en Mole Burger and add either Chipotle-seasoned fries or a Cilantro Caesar Salad as a side, plus a soft drink or a domestic or imported beer of choice. Check out the full menu here which will be available from open to close.
Restaurant favorites were put to good use for this special menu featuring three unique burgers.
The Chile Burger is a grilled half-pound burger topped with Chile Verde, Chile Colorado Or Chicharron Verde and Queso Ranchero on a toasted Bolillo roll.
The Chile Relleno burger includes a half-pound patty topped with Chile Relleno and Salsa Ranchera on a toasted Bolillo roll.
Chef MZ did something different with the Pollo en Mole burger, which includes a grilled breast of chicken topped with house made Mole salsa, sour cream and pickled red onions on a toasted Bolillo roll.
The menu will available for outside dining or takeout from open to close during Burger Week which starts Sunday, July 12. The Salsa Grill is open Tuesday – Sunday from 8 am – 7 pm.
Beyond the burger menu, drink specials will be available including $4 domestic or importer beer and $5 Micheladas and Margaritas.
This is the first ever Burger Week event produced by the Orange County Restaurant Association and the goal is to support restaurants throughout Southern California, Los Angeles County and Orange County.
